Not Jack, Oldies, or Classic Hits...Better

We're Not Jack
The ALLHITSFM format shares only 28% of Jack's playlist. Most Jack stations target HOT AC formats first, to steal many of their listeners. Jack's 10-year core demo is 35-44 adults. Many stations have found the format to be marketing intensive in order to maintain ratings.

Twice Jack's Potential
The ALLHITSFM format targets AC stations first, and then oldies and other gold based radio formats.
Arbitron's Format Trend Report, Demo: Persons 12+, Daypart: MON-SUN 6AM-MID, *Geography: Total US, reports that the AC format listening levels are at least twice as large as HOT AC listening levels.  AC 8.1, HOT AC 3.1.
This gives us 2X the audience potential of a Jack station.

We're Not Oldies

Oldies has been one of the most successful gold-based formats ever. Most oldies stations limit their on-air playlists to no more than 300 songs. The drawback to this concept is the endless repetition and burnout. Unfortunately, many Oldies stations have also been forced to drop the format because of low ad revenue despite high ratings because of unfavorable ad demographics. Over the years, the demographics have simply grown too old. As well, in Arbitron's latest Format Trend Report, the Oldies Format is currently tracking a 2.2 Share Persons 12+, Daypart: MON-SUN 6AM-MID, down from a 6.4 that the format held in its heyday for many years.

The ALLHITSFM Upgrade Path
The ALLHITSFM format may be the perfect upgrade path for an Oldies station considering changing formats. The ALLHITSFM format can be positioned to target 35-44, 40-50, or 45-54 Supercore demos. This means that we can upgrade an Oldies station to the ALLHITSFM format, and configure it to retain most of its current audience, as well as dramatically expanding 18-49 and 25-54 demographics. Also the ALLHITSFM name is considered a more appealing to listeners and advertisers alike than the Oldies format name, which tells baby boomers that their music is "old". The ALLHITSFM branding is timeless!

We're Not Classic Hits
A variation on the Classic Rock format is Classic Hits. The music is based on a music library mostly comprised of Classic Rock-style hits from the 1970s along with small percentage of R&B and pop hits from the late 1960s through the early 1980s. Most Classic Hits stations play 300 records, with the ten-year core demo being 35-44 adults.

ALLHITSFM's Advantage

Tight repetitive playlists are a thing of the past. Burnout is incredibly reduced. Much of the music played on the ALLHITSFM format is rested and not burned out. The format has been designed to get the widest demographic appeal as possible. Most songs test well in several format audiences simultaneously. Not only is the ALLHITSFM format safe and wide, but it really is designed to be more mass appeal.

ALLHITSFM Targets More Listeners
All of the gold-based formats available including Jack, Bob, Oldies, Classic Hits and Classic Rock, all heavily target men. THE ALLHITSFM format target men as well, but it has been designed to be more "female friendly" than any of its competition. This gives the ALLHITSFM format a huge advantage in the ratings by expanding the format's potential by actively targeting females in the listening matrix.
